As a community service, Des Peres Hospital is offering FREE cholesterol, glucose and prostate cancer screenings at the Lodge Des Peres, 1050 Des Peres Road.
Walk-ins welcome, but appointment holders will be given first priority. Call 1-888-457-5203.
6 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. in the Lodge Activity Room the third Thursday in January, February, March, April and May as follows:
- January 21
- February 18
- March 18
- April 15
- May 20
Screenings will involve drawing of a blood sample. Individuals planning to have these screenings are encouraged to fast from midngigh the night before and drink only plain water, black coffee or tea. Always follow your doctor's instructions. If in doubt, call your doctor.
Health screenings are not conclusive, but may be indicative of health problems. Individuals should always consult their physician.
