Volunteers at Des Peres Hospital perform important tasks in many departments such as the medical library, medical records, maintenance, dietary, admitting, and the Volunteer Office itself.
Work schedules as a volunteer are flexible, fitting the convenience of the individual participants. Some assignments begin as early as 6 a.m. during weekdays. Others end as late as 8 p.m. Many volunteers spend just part of a day or two a week in their roles.
