This three-year program provides the resident with the educational requirements for membership in the College of Anesthesiology and for eventual examination by the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology pursuant to certification in Anesthesiology.

These educational requirements are met through personal instruction at the bedside, in the operating room, in the recovery room, in the intensive care unit and through structured didactic opportunities.

Medical students wishing to apply to the internship linked to the Anesthesiology program must complete a minimum two-week rotation at Des Peres Hospital.

R-1 interviews will be held on Saturday November 7th, 2009 beginning at 0700.  Interviews will be by invitation only.  A “Meet and Greet” reception for all applicants will be held on Friday November 6th at 1700 at Des Peres Hospital.
