About Des Peres Hospital

 

Des Peres Hospital, a 143-bed acute care community hospital in St. Louis County, MO, has been serving the medical and health care needs of St. Louis County since 1974.  Des Peres Hospital provides quality medical and surgical services, including geriatrics, cardiology, bariatrics (surgical weight loss management), orthopedics and emergency care.  

 

Des Peres Hospital is a fully-accredited Chest Pain Center, as recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers, and a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, as recognized by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.  

 

We are conveniently located at the intersection of I-270 and Dougherty Ferry Road in West St. Louis County, just one exit from West County Mall.

We specialize in Geriatrics. In fact,
Des Peres Hospital is the first in the St. Louis area to offer Geriatric Emergency Rooms. 

 

Our Senior Care Center offers one-stop medical and specialty physician visits. And our ACE unit is designed to meet the needs of  older hospitalized patients and reduce the risk and effects of delirium. 
 

Spine Specialists

Our Spine Specialists are experts at diagnosing and treating spinal problems.

 

Graduate Medical Education

Find our more about our post-doctoral training program in primary care and medical specialties, including family practice, internal medicine, general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, and anesthesia.  We are a core training site for osteopathic medical students.

 

Attention Anthem/HealthLink Members:

As you may know, Des Peres Hospital's contracts with Anthem and HealthLink will end on December 31, despite numerous efforts over the past five months to reach a new agreement.
