Volunteers at Des Peres Hospital perform important tasks in many departments such as the medical library, medical records, gift shop, maintenance, dietary, admitting, and the Volunteer Office itself.

Work schedules as a volunteer are flexible, fitting the convenience of the individual participants. Some assignments begin as early as 6 a.m. during weekdays. Others end as late as 8 p.m. Many volunteers spend just part of a day or two a week in their roles.
